Emka Electronique today employs more than 200 people, spread across two French factories, specializing in particular in medical (ISO 13485) and aeronautical (EN9100) manufacturing.
The creation of the Tunisian subsidiary makes it possible to offer a quality alternative to French manufacturers working with large volumes and seeking attractive hourly costs. The company also has its own local Tunisian customer base.
A member of the Elentica cluster (41 companies and institutions working to promote the electronics industry in Tunisia), Emka Med, led by Sami Ben Mansour, ranks among the leaders in the Tunisian electronics subcontracting market. The company also has its own Design Office, Emka Engineering, with specific expertise in lighting: urban displays and LED panels.
On a daily basis, Emka Med can draw on Emka Electronique’s experience, for example for supply management (Emka Electronique implemented a DDMRP strategy as early as 2015) or for resolving customs issues.
