An enriching visit
In May 2024, Eric Miscoll, Editor-in-Chief of EMSNOW, and Dieter Weiss, recipient of the IPC President’s Award, met with the Emka Med teams. They discovered that several of our technicians had previously worked in embroidery, an activity that develops great manual dexterity — a valuable asset in electronics. Thanks to a rigorous training and certification policy, many employees now hold IPC certifications.
Exemplary management
Eric Miscoll and Dieter Weiss also praised the company’s family-run management, which was recognized with the Best Place to Work label in 2020. Emka Med does everything possible to offer its employees the best working conditions, both on the SMT production lines and beyond, notably through the organization of transport between the factory and nearby towns.
State-of-the-art facilities
The visitors were impressed by the layout of the SMT lines, designed to ensure high-quality production. They also highlighted the close working relationships established with customs, which facilitate the exchange of goods, as well as the short distance to local ports.
Growth prospects
EMSNOW concluded the visit by highlighting Emka Med’s growth opportunities in Europe. Eric Miscoll and Dieter Weiss left convinced of our organization’s potential.
